SettingsThe Setup Procedure• The Home screen will not appear if you do notconfigure the setup.• The OSD (On Screen Display) may changein this player after you upgrade the softwareversion.• The access steps may differ depending on themenu you selected.• After the setup process is complete, you canthen operate the panel buttons and remotecontrol.After you have connected the player to yourTV, turn on the TV and player. When youturn on the player the first time, the player'sSetup screen appears on the TV. The setupprocedure lets you set the On Screen menulanguages, the aspect ratio (screen size).✎ NOTES If you want to display the Setup screen againto make changes, press the p button onthe front panel of the player for more than5 seconds with no disc inserted. This resetsthe player to its default settings. After the setup process is complete, you canoperate the HDMI-CEC function. If you want to use the Anynet+(HDMI-CEC)function to aid in the initial set up process,please follow the instructions below.1) Connect the player to an Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) compliant Samsung TV using HDMICable.2) Set the Anynet+(HDMI-CEC) feature to Onin both the TV and the player.3) Set the TV to the Setup Procedure. If you leave the player in the stop modefor more than 5 minutes without using it,a screen saver will appear on your TV. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select thedesired submenu, and then press the Ebutton.4. Press the ▲▼ buttons to select thedesired item, and then press the Ebutton.5. The OSD (On ScreenDisplay) may change in this player after youupgrade the software version.Picture SettingsYou can configure various display optionssuch as the TV Aspect Ratio, Resolution, etc.TV Aspect RatioDepending on the type of television youhave, you may want to adjust the screen sizesetting.✎ NOTES Depending on the disc type, some aspectratios may not be available. If you select an aspect ratio and optionwhich is different than the aspect ratio ofyour TV screen, the picture might appear tobe distorted.9 |
