04 SettingsAllShare SettingsThe AllShare Settings screen lists your networkconnected AllShare devices and their IPaddresses. Through this screen, you can allowa device to access the player, deny access, ordelete the device from the AllShare list.1. In the Home screen, select Settings, andthen press the v button.2. Select Network, and then press the vbutton.3. Select AllShare Settngs, and then press thev button.4. Select a device, and then press the vbutton. The AllShare Settings pop-upappears.5. Select Allow, Deny, or Delete from the list,and then press the v button.The AllShare Settings screen only displays devicesif you have established networked connectionsto AllShare devices. For more information aboutAllShare networked devices, see page 32.Upgrading SoftwareThe Software Upgrade menu allows you toupgrade the player's software for performanceimprovements or additional services.• Never turn the player off or back on manually duringthe update process.1. In the Home screen, select the Settings, andthen press the v button.2. Select Support, and then press the vbutton.3. Select Software Upgrade, and then pressthe v button.4. Select one of the following methods:• By Online• By USB• By Disc• By Downloaded• Standby Mode Upgrade5. Press the v button.| NOTE |\ The upgrade is complete when the player turns off, andthen turns on again by itself.\ Samsung Electronics shall takes no legal responsibilityfor player malfunction caused by an unstable Internetconnection or consumer negligence during a softwareupgrade.\ If you want to cancel the upgrade while the upgradesoftware is downloading, press the v button.\ When the system upgrade is progressing, "UP" isdisplayed on the front panel.By OnlineYour player must be connected to the Internet touse the By Online function.1. Select By Online, and then press the vbutton. The Connecting to Server messageappears.2. If there is a download available, the Downloadpop-up appears with a progress bar and thedownload starts.3. When the download is complete, theUpgrade Query window appears with threechoices: Upgrade Now, Upgrade Later, orDon't Upgrade.4. If you select Upgrade Now, the playerupgrades the software, turns off, and thenturns on automatically.5. If you do not make a selection in one minuteor select Upgrade Later, the player storesthe new upgrade software. You can upgradethe software later using the By Downloadedfunction.6. If you select Don't Upgrade, the playercancels the upgrade.English 29 |
