Then, press the shutter button the rest of the way and theself-timer will activate. During the self-timer operation you will hear anelectronic beeping sound. The beeping sound will be much faster duringthe last two seconds, before the shutter is released. When [ Camera Settings](P.28) → [Sound Settings] → [OperationSound] menu is set to [Off], the electronic sound will not beep even if theself-timer is operated.
