iPod playback0312EnImportantIf an error message lights in the front panel, tryfollowing the points below:If the iPod cannot be operated, check thefollowing items:• Is the iPod connected correctly?Reconnect the iPod to the unit.• Is the iPod experiencing a hangup? Tryresetting the iPod, and reconnect it to theunit.Tip• iPod recharging occurs whenever an iPodis connected to this unit. (This function issupported in standby mode as well.)• Whenever an iPod is connected to thisunit, turning the unit’s power ON orswitching input to iPod will cause iPodplayback to begin automatically.• When input is switched from iPod toanother function, the iPod playback stopsautomatically.• If the unit is set to standby when an iPod isconnected, the iPod’s power will be turnedOFF automatically.Message What it meansThere is a problem with the signalpath from the iPod to the unit.Reconnect the iPod to the unit. If thisdoesn’t seem to work, try resettingyour iPod.An unsupported device has beenconnected. Check whether the iPodwas supported by this unit.The iPod that is not supported isconnected. Check whether the iPodwas supported by this unit (page 9).When the iPod software version istoo old, update the iPod software tothe latest version.When there is no response from theiPod, update the iPod software to thelatest version. If this doesn’t seem towork, try resetting your iPod.
