It works by measuring theacoustic characteristics of your room andneutralizing the ambient characteristics thatcan color the original source material. Thisprovides a ‘flat’ equalization setting. If you’renot satisfied with the automatic adjustment,you can also adjust these settings manually toget a frequency balance that suits your tastes.Setting the Acoustic Calibration EQautomaticallyIf you have already completed Automaticallysetting up for surround sound (MCACC) onpage 8, ALL CH ADJUST and FRONT ALIGN(below) should already be set. Therefore, if youwant to adjust your settings manually, you canskip to Setting the Acoustic Calibration EQmanually on page 41.1 Select ‘EQ AUTO Setting’ from theManual MCACC setup menu.• Make sure the microphone is connected.• If you’re using a subwoofer, it isautomatically detected every time youswitch on the system.
