Toprevent such functions from being used whilethe vehicle is in motion, there is an interlock sys-tem that senses when the parking brake is set. Ifyou attempt to use the functions describedabove while driving, they will become disableduntil you stop the vehicle in a safe place, and (1)apply the parking brake, (2) release the parkingbrake, and then (3) apply the parking brakeagain. Please keep the brake pedal pushed downbefore releasing the parking brake.Protecting the LCD panel andscreen❐ Do not allow direct sunlight to fall on theLCD screen when this product is not beingused. Extended exposure to direct sunlightcan result in LCD screen malfunction due tothe resulting high temperatures.❐ When using a cellular phone, keep the an-tenna of the cellular phone away from theLCD screen to prevent disruption of the vid-eo in the form of spots, colored stripes, etc.❐ To protect the LCD screen from damage, besure to tap the touch panel keys with yourfinger only and gently touch the screen.Notes on internal memoryBefore removing the vehicle batteryIf the battery is disconnected or discharged, allstored memory (except the registeredBluetooth device list) will be erased and mustbe reprogrammed.
