For information onthe software and updating, refer to our web-site.❐ “Bluetooth Software Update” can be setonly when the source is set to “OFF”.❐ Never turn this product off while theBluetooth memory is being cleared.1 Display the “System” screen.➲ For details, refer to Customizing the systemsettings on page 38.2 Tap [Bluetooth Software Update].The “Bluetooth Software Update” screen ap-pears.3 Tap [Start] to display the data transfermode.■ Follow the on-screen instructions to finishupdating the software.Displaying the Bluetooth systemversionIf this product fails to operate properly, youmay need to consult your dealer for repair. Insuch cases, you may be asked to specify thesystem version. Perform the following proce-dure to check the version of this product.❐ “Bluetooth Version Information” can beset only when the source is set to “OFF”.1 Display the “System” screen.➲ For details, refer to Customizing the systemsettings on page 38.2 Tap [Bluetooth Version Information] todisplay to the version of the Bluetoothmodule of this product.Setting the rear view cameraThe following two functions are available. Therear view camera feature requires a separatelysold rear view camera (e.g. ND-BC5). (For de-tails, consult your dealer.)Rear view cameraThis product features a function that automati-cally switches to the full-screen image of therear view camera installed on your vehicle.When the shift lever is in the REVERSE (R) posi-tion, the screen automatically switches to afull-screen rear view camera image.Camera for Rear view modeRear view can be displayed at all times (e.g.when monitoring an attached trailer, etc.).Please be aware that with this setting, thecamera image is not resized to fit, and a por-tion of what is seen by the camera is not view-able.CAUTIONPioneer recommends the use of a camerawhich outputs mirror-reversed images.Otherwise, the screen image will appear re-versed.❐ Immediately verify whether the displaychanges to a rear view camera image whenthe shift lever is moved to REVERSE (R) fromanother position.❐ When the screen changes to full-screen rearview camera image during normal driving,switch to the opposite setting in “CameraPolarity”.1 Display the “System” screen.➲ For details, refer to Customizing the systemsettings on page 38.
