Vocal communicationTo use the wireless headphones for vocal communication, pairing must be per-formed with the desired Bluetooth device using the “hands-free profile” (HFP) or“headset profile” (HSP).For details on how to perform pairing, see P.5.* If the Bluetooth device supports both profiles HFP and HSP, use the profile HFP.(1) Remove the left and right earphones (units) from the charging case.(2) Press the left side and right side multifunction buttons until the blue LEDslight and then flash.• When the blue LEDs on the left side and right side flash three times, the powerturns on.Pairing of the left side and right side is performed automatically when the powerturns on.(3) Turn on the Bluetooth function on the device you wish to connect to.• When pairing is completed, the wireless headphones will automatically connectto the Bluetooth device.* If automatic connection is not achieved, or the headphones automatically connectto a different Bluetooth device than the one you wish to use, follow the instructionsfor the desired Bluetooth device regarding manual connection.Vocal communication controlsIf the connected Bluetooth device supports AVRCP, the following operations can beused.• L side Multi-function buttonPress once when receiving a message : Enables conversation. Press onceagain to end conversation.Press and hold when receiving a message : Refuse communication.The same controls are supported in the event a call is received while listening tomusic.* When a call is received, you cannot answer it by operating the right side multifunc-tion button. Perform the operation with the left side multifunction button.* Adjust the volume with the paired Bluetooth device.* With some Bluetooth devices, the volume level may be maximized when pairingwith these earphones.After pairing adjust the volume level down, using the Bluetooth device prior to plac-ing earphones in your ears.* Depending on the specifications of the connected Bluetooth device, the controlsnoted above and controls on the Bluetooth device may not be supported.* Depending on the specifications of the connected Bluetooth device, the phonesettings may need to be configured. Consult the user’s manual for the Bluetoothdevice.
