If youdo, there will be no picture.• If you select BACK UP CAMERA, press ∞ tomove to BACK UP POLARITY, or use 2 or 3 toselect BATTERY and GND.BATTERY: When the gear shift is moved to theREVERSE (R) position, and the polarity of theconnected lead wire is positive.GND: When the gear shift is moved to theREVERSE (R) position, and the polarity of theconnected lead wire (refer to page 30) is nega-tive.• This product features a function that automat-ically switches to the video input into the videoor back camera jack when a back-up camera isinstalled on your car. If this is the case, whenthe gear shift is in the REVERSE (R) position,the video automatically switches to video orback camera. (The default setting is BATTERY.For more details, consult with your dealer.)Notes• If you do not operate the function within about30 seconds, the display is automaticallyreturned to the playback display.• If you select BACKUP CAMERA, switching tothe correct video setting may not occur.Confirm that directly after changing the set-ting, it changes to VIDEO when the gear shiftis moved to REVERSE from another position.• If you select BACKUP CAMERA, the displaychanges to VIDEO during normal drivings,reverse the settings.Setting the automatic openmodeTo prevent the display from hitting the shift leverof an automatic vehicle when it is in the “P”(park) position, or when you do not wish open-ing/closing of the display to be carried out auto-matically, you can switch this function ON/OFF.1 Press 5 or ∞ to select AUTO FLAP from theSET UP MENU, and press A.MENU.AUTO FLAP adjustment indications are dis-played.2 Press 2 to select the manual.Press 2 until the OPEN/CLOSE:MANUALsetting appears in the display. Each time youpress a manually set monitor’s EJECT, the moni-tor opens or closes.3 Press 3 to select the auto.Press 2 until the OPEN/CLOSE:AUTO settingappears in the display.
