Activate the switch lock 1 and push the motorunit 6 forward.2. Release the locking lever 18 . Release the switchlock 1 . The motor unit will lock into place.3. The clamping screw / washer 14a is now locatedin the cut-out 14b .4. Push the spindle lock 19 and use the sockethead wrench 5 to undo the clamping screw /washer 14a .5. Remove the saw blade 14 .6. Install the saw blade 14 in the respective reverseorder.The direction of rotation of the saw blade anddevice must match.Connecting the sawdust extractionOptionally attach the chip discharge adapter forthe dust extraction 7 to the chip discharge 17 .Connect an approved dust- and chip extractionsystem.Checking the guard functionNote: for this process, place the baseplate at theedge of a firm surface so the saw blade 14 can belowered.Lower the plunge saw.Check if the saw blade 14 rubs against theguard and if it independently returns to thestarting position.OperationSwitching on and offSwitching on:Slide the switch lock 1 up and keep in position.Activate the ON / OFF switch 2 . Once the ma-chine has started, release the start lockout 1 .Switching off:Release the ON / OFF switch 2 .Adjusting the cutting depth(plunge depth)Loosen the screw on the depth adjustment 12and slide the stopper to the desired cuttingdepth shown on the depth scale 13 :- without guide track see marking A.- with guide track see marking B.Tighten the screw for the depth adjustment 12 .Note: adjust the cutting depth to the thicknessof the work piece. No more than one toothdepth should protrude below the work piece.Adjusting the cutting angle(mitre square)Loosen both adjustment wheels for the cuttingangle 11 .Slide the motor to the desired cutting angle.Tighten the adjustment wheels 11 .Note: if the cutting angle adjustment for 0 ° or 45 °moved, they can be readjusted with the micro-adjust-ment screws 8 and 8a .Note the cutting lineThe saw stand 9 is embossed with 0 ° / 45 °cutting line markings 9a .Align the tool with the respective cutting anglesusing the 0 ° resp. 45 ° cutting line marks 9a .The slants are reference points.
