Otherwise, it maycause deformation, discoloration and malfunc-tion. Keep this camera away from water andmoisture.Installing placeDo not place this product in the following plac-es:• Locations where it may get wet from rainor water splash• Locations where a chemical agent is usedsuch as a swimming pool• Locations subject to humidity, dust, steamand oil smoke• Locations in a specific environment wherea solvent or a flammable atmosphereexists• Locations where a radiation, an X-ray, astrong radio wave or a strong magneticfield is generated• Locations where corrosive gas is pro-duced, Locations where it may be dam-aged by briny air such as seashores• Locations where the temperature is notwithin 0 °C to +40 °C {32 °F to 104 °F}.• Locations subject to vibrations that exceedthe railway specifications (EN50155)• Locations subject to condensation as theresult of severe changes in temperature(In case of installing the camera in suchlocations, the dome may become foggy orcondensation may be caused on thecover.)Be sure to remove this product if it is notin use.Before installation• When this camera is mounted on a ceilingor a wall, use the screws described onpage 16. The screws to be used are notprovided. Prepare the screws according tothe material, structure, strength and otherfactors of the mounting area and the totalweight of objects to be mounted.• Ensure that the mounting surface, anchorand screws are sufficiently strong.• Do not mount this product on a plasterboard or a wooden section because theyare too weak. If this product is unavoidablymounted on such a section, the sectionshall be sufficiently reinforced.Design and engineer the power supplysystem to turn on/off the power of thisproduct.The product has no power switch. Wheninstalling the product, use a PoE hub equippedwith the ON-OFF switch for servicing.About the network connectionWhen connecting to a network using the net-work cable of this product, observe the follow-ing.• When wiring for the network, design andengineer to not to be affected by thunder.• It is impossible to install this product incombination with a pan/tilt head.
