See section Protective zone.Be aware that refrigerant maynot contain an odour, highlyrecommended to ensure suitableflammable refrigerant gas detectorsare present, operating and able towarn of a leak.Keep any required ventilationopenings clear of obstruction.Do not pierce or burn as the applianceis pressurized. Do not expose theappliance to heat, flame, sparks, orother sources of ignition. Else it mayexplode and cause injury or death.Precaution for using R290refrigerantThe mixing of different refrigerantswithin a system is prohibited.• Operation, maintenance, repairingand refrigerant recovery should becarried out by trained and certifiedpersonnel in the use of flammablerefrigerants and as recommendedby the manufacturer. Any personnelconducting an operation, servicingor maintenance on a system orassociated parts of the equipmentshould be trained and certified.• Any part of refrigerating circuit(evaporators, air coolers, AHU,condensers or liquid receivers) orpiping should not be located in theproximity of heat sources, openflames, operating gas appliance oran operating electric heater.• The user/owner or their authorisedrepresentative shall regularly checkthe alarms, mechanical ventilationand detectors, at least once ayear, where as required by nationalregulations, to ensure their correctfunctioning.• A logbook shall be maintained. Theresults of these checks shall berecorded in the logbook.• In case of ventilations in occupiedspaces shall be checked to confirmno obstruction.
