13Getting started First Time SetupIdentifying ControlsorTurn the TV on with the POWER buttonor(Remote)(TV)Setup the following items● Select your language● Select your viewing mode (Be sure to select “Home Use”)If you select “ Store Demonstration” by mistake, confirmation screen will bedisplayed.To display the “Set viewing mode” screen again and select “Home Use”, perform“Reset to defaults” in the “Setup” menu.● ANT/Cable setupSelect signal type (Over-the-air Antenna/Cable).Select Auto Program and start scanning.Scanning starts.NoteIf at the end of the scanning no channels are found, then check:1. Antenna’s position – or2. Availability of Cable serviceCable, Satellite or Fiber services with a box are typically connected to the TV’s A/Vinputs, preferably HDMI, for best HD picture. In such a case, the channel scanning isnot needed (set “ANT in” to “Cable”).Complete First time setupCompletion screen is displayed.You can repeat the First time setup• Press MENU --> Setup --> Reset to defaultsTo watch TV via a Cable box, Satellite receiver, or any other source (DVD, DVR,gaming device, etc.), press the INPUT button and select the appropriate input.First Time SetupThe setup screen will be displayed only when the TV is turned on for the first time and after the power cordis inserted into a wall outlet.
