When you next switch-on, the followingmessage will be displayed: “TV switched to stand-bymode automatically because there was no signalfor a long time.” Press OK to continue.If the TV is on and it isn’t being operated for a whileit will go into standby. Volume / Info / Sources List selection andStandby-On switchThe Control button allows you to control the Volume/Programme/Source and Standby-On functions ofthe TV.To change volume: Increase the volume by pushingthe button up. Decrease the volume by pushing thebutton down.To change channel: Press the middle of the buttonin, the information banner will appear on the screen.Scroll through the stored channels by pushing thebutton up or down.To change source: Press the middle of the button intwice(for the second time in total), the source list willappear on the screen. Scroll through the availablesources by pushing the button up or down.To turn the TV off: Press the middle of the button inand hold it down for a few seconds, the TV will turninto standby mode.To turn on the TV: Press the middle of the button in,the TV will turn on.Notes:• If you turn the TV off, this circle starts again beginningwith the volume setting.• Main menu OSD cannot be displayed via controlbuttons.Operation with the Remote ControlPress Menu button on your remote control to displaymain menu screen. Use the directional buttons to selecta menu tab and press OK to enter. Use the directionalbuttons again to select or set an item. Press Return/Back button or Menu button to quit a menu screen.Input SelectionOnce you have connected external systems to yourTV, you can switch to different input sources. PressSource button on your remote control consecutivelyto select the different sources.Changing Channels and VolumeYou can change the channel and adjust the volumeby using the Volume +/- and Programme +/- buttonson the remote.Inserting the Batteries into the RemoteRemove the back cover to reveal the batterycompartment. Insert two size AA batteries. Make surethe (+) and (-) signs match (observe correct polarity).Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace only withsame or equivalent type. Place the cover back on.Connect PowerIMPORTANT: The TV set is designed to operate on220-240V AC, 50 Hz socket. After unpacking, allow theTV set to reach the ambient room temperature beforeyou connect the set to the mains. Plug the power cableto the mains socket outlet.Antenna ConnectionConnect the aerial or cable TV plug to the AERIALINPUT (ANT) socket located on the back of the TV.
