The more pixels on thepanel, the more detailed image canbe displayed. To create a colourimage each pixel is made up ofthree tiny coloured dots (1 each ofred, green and blue). This givesa total far in excess of one millionindividual dots manufacturedinto the panel. Each one of threedots is precisely controlled by theelectronics of the TV to producethe picture.• Whilst Panasonic maintains thehighest standards in manufacturingtechnology and processes in theconstruction of these panels,there are a number of allowablePixel/Dot failures that would stillallow the panel to be defined asa good panel. It is not possible toguarantee absolutely no pixel loss.
