English10Notes on Using Wired LANWhen setting up the Display at a place, whereelectric statistic occurs often, take a sufficientantistatic measure before start using.• When the Display is used at a location, where staticelectricity occurs often, such as on a carpet, a wiredLAN communication is disconnected more often.In that case, remove static electricity and the noisesource that may cause problems with an antistaticmat, and re-connect the wired LAN.• In rare cases, the LAN connection is disabled dueto static electricity or noise. In that case, turn off thepower of the Display and the connected devices onceand then re-turn on the power.The Display may not work properly due to strongradio wave from the broadcast station or the radio.• If there is any facility or equipment, which outputsstrong radio wave, near the installation location, setup the Display at a location sufficiently far from thesource of the radio wave. Or, wrap the LAN cableconnected to the LAN terminal by using a piece ofmetal foil or a metal pipe, of which is grounded atboth ends.Request Regarding SecurityWhen using this unit, take safety measures againstthe following incidents.• Personal information being leaked via this unit• Unauthorized operation of this unit by a maliciousthird party• Interfering or stopping of this unit by a malicious thirdpartyTake sufficient security measures.• Set a password for the LAN control and restrict theusers who can log in.• Make your password difficult to guess as much aspossible.• Change your password periodically.• Panasonic Corporation or its affiliate companies willnever ask for your password directly. Do not divulgeyour password in case you receive such inquiries.• The connecting network must be secured by afirewall, etc.• When disposing the product, initialize the data beforedisposing. ([Shipping])Cleaning and maintenanceFirst, remove the mains plug from the mains socket.Gently wipe the surface of the liquid crystal panel orcabinet by using a soft cloth to remove dirt.• To remove stubborn dirt or fingerprints on the surfaceof the liquid crystal panel, dampen a cloth with dilutedneutral detergent (1 part detergent to 100 partswater), wring out the cloth firmly, and then wipe awaythe dirt. Finally, wipe away all the moisture with a drycloth.• If water droplets get inside the unit, operatingproblems may result.Note● The surface of the liquid crystal panel is speciallytreated. Do not use a hard cloth or rub the surfacetoo hard, otherwise this may cause scratches on thesurface.Usage of a chemical cloth• Do not use a chemical cloth for the liquid crystal panelsurface.• Follow the instructions for the chemical cloth to use itfor the cabinet.Avoid contact with volatile substances such asinsect sprays, solvents and thinner.• This may cause damage to the cabinet or causepeeling of the paint. Furthermore, do not leave it incontact with a rubber or PVC substance for a longtime.DisposalWhen disposing the product, ask your localauthority or dealer about the correct methods ofdisposal.
