Turning the power to theDisplay and all the connected devices, off and on again,will most times restore the LAN connection.The Display may not work properly in the presence ofstrong radio waves from a broadcast station or evena radio.• If there should be a facility or equipment, whichoutputs strong radio waves near the installation, movethe Display to a place far enough away to avoid theproblem. Or the LAN cable can be shielded by awrapping of metal foil that is continuous with the LANterminal ground, or by being placed inside a metalconduit which is properly grounded at both ends.Cleaning and maintenanceThe front of the liquid crystal panel has been speciallytreated. Wipe the surface of the liquid crystal panelgently using only an LCD cleaning cloth, or other softlint-free cloth.• If the surface is particularly dirty, wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth which has been slightly damped with purewater, or water to which one drop of a neutral detergenthas been added. After this wipe with a lint-free cloth untilthe surface is dry.• Do not scratch the surface of the panel with a fingernailor other hard object to remove dirt, this may damage thesurface. Furthermore, avoid spraying insect repellantnear the display and also avoid using any kind of solventsuch as thinners near the screen. These fluids can havean adverse effect on the surface.If the housing becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft, drycloth.• If the housing should become particularly dirty, wipe itwith a cloth slightly damped with water to which a dropof neutral detergent has been added. Use this cloth towipe the cabinet and then wipe it dry with another cloth.• Do not allow any detergent to come into direct contactwith the surface of the Display. Make sure the cloth isonly damp. If water droplets get inside the unit, operatingproblems may be the result.• Volatile substances such as insect sprays, solventsand thinners, can harm not only the screen but also theDisplay housing. The coating may be adversely affectedand may even peel off.
