16Before Calling for ServiceProblem Check point Action to take PageThe touchpanel doesnot respondto touch.Is there any deviceemitting strong electricwave?When the touch panel receive strong electric wave,it may become irresponsive to avoid false detection.Keep the source of the electric wave as far aspossible from the touch panel.ʊIs anything nearby(generators, motors,etc.) generating strongnoise?Strong external noise can cause the microcomputerinside the touch panel to malfunction, therefore keepnoise sources as far away as possible.ʊThe touchpanel doesnot work.Is the USB cableconnecting the touchpanel and computer?Connect the USB cable. 7Is the device driverinstalled?Check that the device driver has been installed. If ithasn’t, install it. ʊIf there are multipleUSB ports on yourcomputer, is the USBport which used forthe device driverinstallation in use forthe connection?Change the connection with the USB port whichused for the device driver installation.Alternately, install the device driver again usingthe USB port where the touch panel is currentlyconnected.ʊIs the click mode on?Start up a setup tool by selecting [Start] - [AllPrograms] - [UPDD] - [Settings].Select “Click Mode” from the left ¿eld and select amode according to your usage from the right ¿eld.14Is the touch panelrecognized by thecomputer?Start up a setup tool by selecting [Start] - [AllPrograms] - [UPDD] - [Settings].If “Panasonic. ZXY100” is displayed in red on theupper left corner of the UPDD console window,the touch panel is not recognized by the computercorrectly.11The touchposition isout of place.Has the touch panelbeen calibrated?
