4344-6-2 Setting Menu OptionsThe menu options are set with the MENU and JOG dial buttons.The menu comprises main menu, sub-menus and optionsmenus.The data specified through menu options are written and savedin the internal memory of the AJ-SPX900E.This section describes how to set options in MAIN MENU. Theother menus can be configured in the same manner (the methodof displaying the menu screen depends on the particular menu).When the AJ-SPX900E is in thumbnail mode, the viewfinderdisplays “THUMBNAIL OPEN”, disabling navigation through themenu.1 Press the MENU button for three seconds or longer.The MAIN MENU screen appears, together with its options.SYSTEM SETTING:This option is used to specify recording signal,recording system, etc.PAINT: This option is used to fine-adjust images whilemonitoring the output waveform of the camera,using the waveform monitor. Normally, thisadjustment requires assistance from a videoengineer.This menu option may be set with an externalremote controller, and is useful when using theAJ-SPX900E without a sound recordist.VF: Used to select the information items to bedisplayed in the viewfinder screen.CAM OPERATION:Used to change settings according to theconditions for the subject.MAIN OPERATION:Used to specify recording-related items, such asaudio settings, time code, battery and P2 cardremaining amounts.FILE: Used to specify file-related items such as SD cardreading/writing and lens file settings.MAINTENANCE:Used to specify maintenance-related items.USER MENU SELECT:Used to edit USER MENU.2 Turn the JOG dial button to move the mark () to a desiredmenu option.
