6IntroductionComponent namesA Power button [Í/I]Pressing the button causes the unit to be turned on and itsLED illuminates in green.≥ When the button is pressed and held for at least 4 seconds(but less than 10 seconds), the LED will flash fast in greenand the magazine carrier unit will be stored in the BottomModule. When it is stored completely, the LED will flashslowly in green.≥ Although it is possible to force the unit to turn off by pressingand holding this button for at least 15 seconds, in normalcircumstances, turn it off by controlling it from the serverconnected to the unit to prevent problems such as data lossand server shutdown. When the unit is forced to turn off, themagazine carrier unit will not be stored in the BottomModule.≥ The power button is not present on the drawer side panel.≥ Even if the unit is turned off, a part of its circuitry remain on.B Power connectorProvides a +24 V and +12 V DC power supply.≥ Before disconnecting a DC cable, confirm that LED 5(POWER) listed in the following field F is off.C NameplateDescribes a model number, ratings, serial number, etc.D Control interface portConnect external servers, the Bottom Module, Control Unit,and Writer Unit with the supplied exclusive use connectioncables.E Drive interface portServes as a port for data transfer.There are two ports. (The LEDs arenumbered from left to right.)` LED 1 (FAN)/LED 2 (CHANGER)/LED 3 (DRIVE)Running: illuminates in greenStopped: off` LED 4 (INFORMATION)If the operation to store the magazine carrier unit in theBottom Module fails when the power button is pressed andheld for at least 4 seconds: illuminates in redNormal: off` LED 5 (POWER)While energized: illuminates in greenWhile de-energized: offG Fan ventilation holeServes as a hole for air ventilation of the unit during a fanoperation.≥ The unit is equipped with three fans.≥ Care should be taken not to block the hole.H HandleUse this to pull out the Writer Unit component from the mainunit of the Base Module.(The Base Module has a Writer Unit component.
