Answering System49Recording a Memo MessageYou can record your own voice memo message for up to 3 minutes in memory.• If you record for over 3 minutes in step 2, the unit will stop recording.• If “ ” is shown on the base unit display and 6 beeps sound, your memo messageis not recorded correctly. Record it again.Recording Your Telephone ConversationYou can record your conversation while talking using the handset.• While recording your conversation, Visual Call Waiting (Call Waiting ID) and CallDisplay features cannot be used.• If you press [ ] or [ ] to switch between talk and speakerphone, recording isstopped.1 Press [MEMO/2WAY REC].2 After the long beep, speak clearly, 20 cm(8 inches) away from the MIC.• The base unit display shows the elapsedrecording time.3 When finished, press[MEMO/2WAY REC] or [STOP].• A beep sounds.• The NEW MESSAGE indicator flashes.1 During a conversation, press [MEMO/2WAY REC].• The base unit display shows the elapsed recording time.2 Continue your conversation.3 To stop recording the conversation, press [MEMO/2WAY REC] or[STOP].• The NEW MESSAGE indicator flashes.When you record your 2-way telephone conversation, you should inform theother party that the conversation is being recorded.Base Unit[STOP]MIC[MEMO/2WAY REC]NEW MESSAGE IndicatorBase Unit✿✤✦✪✤✧✮ ❇ ✧✬ |
