Making/Answering Calls202 When finished talking, press {ih} orplace the handset on the base unit.Auto talk featureYou can answer calls simply by lifting thehandset off the base unit. You do not need topress {C}. To turn this feature on, seepage 31.To adjust the ringer volume when anoutside call comes inPress {e} or {v} when an outside callcomes in.Note:L The ringer volume cannot be adjusted ifthe handset is on the base unit.Answering calls using thebase unit1 Press {s}.2 When finished talking, press {s}.To adjust the ringer volumePress {>} or {<} when a call is received orwhen the base unit is in standby mode. 4volume levels (high/medium/low/off) areavailable.
