4.1 TroubleshootingInstallation Manual 1154.1.3 OperationPROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION• The APT does not ring. • The ringer volume is off. • Turn on the ringer volume.• During a power failure,extensions connected toports 1 and 2 of Hybrid Portsdo not operate.• An APT is connected to theextension port.• The dialing mode (tone orpulse) is incorrect.• Disconnect the APT and connect anSLT.• Set the Tone/Pulse switch to the otherposition.• Originating an outside call,call transfer, or conferencecannot be performed.• The corresponding CObutton does not exist on theAPT.• Program the CO button.
