46VQT1B11Cautions for Use∫Concerning the unit≥ Do not look directly at the flashat close range when it isactivated.≥ Avoid bringing the unit into closeproximity with objects. Its heat andlight may cause deformation ordiscolouration.≥ When taking photos outside theflash working range, the properexposure will not be achieved, andimages which are whitish or toodark may be taken.≥ At high shutter speeds, the effectsobtained by the unit may not besufficient.Keep the unit away frominsecticide sprays and othervolatile substances.≥ If the unit is exposed to thesesprays or substances, its externalcase may deteriorate and/or itspaint may peel off.≥ Do not leave the unit in contactwith any items made of rubber orPVC for prolonged periods of time.Do not use benzine, paintthinners, alcohol or other suchsolvents to maintain the unit.≥ Remove the batteries beforeproceeding with maintenance.≥ Use of solvents may cause adeterioration in the unit’s externalcase and/or the paint to peel off.≥ Wipe away dust and fingerprintsusing a soft, dry cloth.≥ Do not use kitchen detergents orchemical cleaning cloths.≥ If rain or drops of water splashonto the unit, wipe off the waterwith a dry cloth.Do not carry the unit when it is stillattached to the camera body.≥ Under no circumstances shouldthe unit be stored in any of thefollowing locations since doing somay cause trouble in operation ormalfunctioning.≥ In direct sunlight or on a beachin summer≥ In locations with hightemperatures and humiditylevels or where the changes intemperature and humidity areacute≥ In locations with highconcentrations of sand, dust ordirt≥ Where there is fire≥ Near heaters, air conditioners orhumidifiers≥ Where water may make the unitwet≥ Where there is vibration≥ Inside a vehicle≥ Multiple-light shots cannot betaken by using the flash incombination with other flash units.≥ Do not drop the unit, knock it intoother objects or subject it to anyother kind of strong impact orshock.
