When theunit is turned off, “z” lights on the unit’sdisplay to indicate scheduled recordingstandby has been activated.“z” flashes when the unit cannot go toscheduled recording standby. (e.g., arecordable disc is not in the disc tray)It does not flash if Quick Start is off.When scheduled recordings are set tostart one immediately after another, theunit cannot record the beginning of thelater program.If two scheduled recording times overlapthe recording that started first alwayshas priority. The second recording willstart only after the first recording hasfinished.When starting time for a scheduledrecording is the same, the recording thatyou programmed later has priority.Depending on the Daylight Saving Time(DST) settings for this unit, scheduledrecordings may be affected when theseasons change.•••••••TipsIcons such as “ RAM ” indicate usablediscs.
