Copying videoSQT1109 49High Speed Copying is the process of copying atitle to disc in high speed while maintaining theoriginal record mode and recording length.• Converting the recording mode will result in anormal speed copy.• The following recording mode and mediacombinations support high speed copying.• High speed copy is possible only when there isenough recording capacity on the destinationmedia.• It is impossible to copy at high speed in the following cases:- [HDD] > [BD-RE] [BD-R] :• Copying radio programmes- [HDD] > [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] [+R] [+RW] :• Titles that contain many deleted segments- [HDD] > [+R] [+RW] :• Titles recorded in “EP” mode and “FR (recordings5 hours or longer)” mode• Titles recorded in 16:9 aspect- [HDD] > [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] :• Titles recorded via AV input in 16:9 aspect using “EP”mode or “FR (recordings 5 hours or longer)” mode• [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] [+R] [+RW] You cannot copy tothe disc in the following cases.- When there is not enough free space on theHDD.- When the number of titles recorded on the discwill exceed its maximum limit if copying isperformed. (> 16)• When copying title recorded in 1080/50p or1080/60p, it cannot copy in progressive.• It may not display correctly in 3D when a copied3D programme is played back. In such a case,change the “Signal Format” during the playbackof the title. (> 38)• 3D information may not be copied.• If you want to copy 3D AVCHD video to the discin 3D, use BD-R or BD-RE and copying speedmust be high speed.• The position of the chapter might shift slightly.• Maximum number of chapters on the disc islimited.- [BD-RE] [BD-R] [RAM] [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] :Approx. 1000- [+R] [+RW] : Approx. 254(Depends on the state of recording.)Notes for copyingHigh speed copyOriginal title’srecording mode MediaDRHGHXHEHLHMXPSPLPEPFR § DVD-RAM only§Normal speed copy• Copying will continue up to the point cancelled.- [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] [+R] [+RW] If copy is cancelledduring the step while temporarily copying tothe HDD, then nothing will be copied.- [BD-R] [DVD-R] [DVD-RW] [+R] [+RW] Even if thetitle was not copied to the disc, the amount ofremaining writable disc space becomes less.Copying 3D programmesAbout maintaining the chapter mark |
