4311.3.5 Connect the cable to the Outdoor Unita) INDOOR POWER SUPPLY MODEL (1.0 ~2.5HP)1 Remove the control board cover from theunit by loosening the screw.2 Connecting cable between indoor unit andoutdoor unit shall be approvedpolychloroprene sheathed 3 x 1.5mm 2 (1.0 ~1.5HP) or 3 x 2.5mm 2 (2.0 ~ 2.5HP) flexiblecord, type designation 245 IEC 57 or heaviercord. Do not use joint connection cable.Replace the wire if the existing wire (fromconcealed wiring, or otherwise) is too short.3 Secure the cable onto the control board withthe holder.4 Attach the control board cover back to theoriginal position with the screw.5 For wire stripping and connection requirement,refer to instruction g of the indoor unit.This equipment must be properly earthed.• Earth wire shall be Yellow/Green (Y/G) in colourand longer than the other AC wires for safetyreason.b) OUTDOOR POWER SUPPLY MODEL (3.0HP)1 Remove the control board cover from the unit by loosening the screw.2 Cable connection to the power supply through Isolating Devices (Disconnecting means).o Connect the approved polychloroprene sheathed power supply cord 3 x 4.0 mm 2 (3.0HP) typedesignation 245 IEC 57 or heavier cord to the terminal board, and connect the other end of the cord toIsolating Devices (Disconnecting means).o Do not use joint power supply cord. Replace the wire if the existing wire (from concealed wiring, orotherwise) is too short.o In unavoidable case, joining of power supply cord between isolating devices and terminal board of airconditioner shall be done by using approved socket and plug rated 25A (3.0HP). Wiring work to bothsocket and plug must follow to national wiring standard.3 Connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit shall be approved polychloroprene sheathed 4 x 1.5mm2 flexible cord, type designation 245 IEC 57 or heavier cord. Do not use joint connection cable. Replacethe wire if the existing wire (from concealed wiring, or otherwise) is too short.4 Connect the power supply cord and connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit according to thediagram below.5 Secure the power supply cord and connecting cable onto the control board with the holder.6 Attach the control board cover back to the original position with screw.
