834.10.3 Event4.10.3.1 DetectIn the main menu, from Setting->Event->Detect, you can see motion detect interface.See Figure 4-72.There is three detection types: motion detection, video loss,tampering. The video loss has no detection region and sensitivity setup and tampering has nodetection region setup. You can see motion detect icon if current channel has enabled motion detectalarm. You can drag you mouse to set motion detect region. Please click OK button tosave current region setup. Right click mouse to exit current interface. For digital channel, the detect function refers to support detection function of thefront-end and support local activation function. The front-end can getenable/disable status, sensitivity and region setup. You can get correspondingprompt if front-end cannot get the above information. You can change front-endsetup if it can get.4.10.3.1.1 Motion DetectAfter analysis video, system can generate an alarm when the detected moving item.Detection menu is shown as below. See Figure 4-72. Channel: Select a channel from the dropdown list to set motion detect function. Enable: Select the checkbox to enable motion detect function. Region: Click Setup button, the interface is shown as in Figure 4-73. Here you can setmotion detection zone. There are four zones for you to set. Please select a zone firstand then left drag the mouse to select a zone. The corresponding color zone displaysdifferent detection zone. You can click Fn button to switch between the arm mode anddisarm mode. In arm mode, you can click the direction buttons to move the greenrectangle to set the motion detection zone. After you completed the setup, pleaseclick ENTER button to exit current setup. Do remember click save button to savecurrent setup. If you click ESC button to exit the region setup interface system will notsave your zone setup. Period: Click Setup button, you can see an interface is shown as in Figure 4-75. Hereyou can set motion detect period. System only enables motion detect operation in thespecified periods. It is not for video loss or the tampering. There are two ways for youto set periods. Please note system only supports 6 periods in one day. In Figure 4-75, Select icon of several dates, all checked items can be editedtogether. Now the icon is shown as . In Figure 4-75. Click button after one date or a holiday, you can see aninterface shown as in Figure 4-76. There are six period for setup (00:00 – 24:00) andis able to copy the setup period to everyday from (Mon -> Sun).
