24ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE1. Test Equipment RequiredThe following test Equipments are required foradjustment of the Jog Pad.Digital Voltmeter2. Disassembling Procedure forAdjustmentReferring to Fig. 2-1, remove five screws that secure theBottom Cover and remove the Bottom Cover.Fig. 2-1Remove five screws.Bottom CoverVR3 (WIPE H)VR4 (WIPE L)MAIN BOARD (PATTERN SIDE)TP2 (WIPE H)TP3 (WIPE L)3. Adjustment ProcedureRefer to the Location of the Test Points andAdjusting Controls as below.(1). Wipe High Level AdjustmentTest Point: TP2 (WIPE H) Jog Pad BoardTP3 (WIPE L) Jog Pad BoardAdjust: VR3 (WIPE H) Jog Pad BoardMove the Wipe Level Controls and Audio Level Knob to +side slightly.Connect the Digital Voltmeter to TP3 and measure thevoltage at TP3 (this voltage is E).Change the connection of the Digital Voltmeter to TP2.Adjust VR3 so that the voltage at TP2 becomes E – (0.2 ±0.05) V.(2). Wipe Low Level AdjustmentTest Point: TP3 (WIPE L) Jog Pad BoardAdjust: VR4 (WIPE L) Jog pad BoardMove the Wipe Level Controls and Audio Level Knob tothe frontward slightly.Connect the Digital Voltmeter to TP3.Adjust VR4 to obtain –0.2 ± 0.05 V.LOCATION OF TEST POINTS AND ADJUSTING CONTROLS |
