Connect the IP connector of this unit and LANconnector on the camera recorder with a LAN cable(option).• When connecting via a switching hub (100base-TX), use a straightcable (category 5 or better shielded cable) for the LAN cable. Whennot connecting via a switching hub, use a cross cable (category 5 orbetter shielded cable) for the LAN cable.2. When you have finished connecting the equipment, turnon the power of the camera and turn on the external DCpower supply of the unit.• Up to 19 camera recorders and remote cameras can be controlledfrom this unit.• To use a remote camera via an IP connection, you need to configurethe settings with ROP Setup Software (accessory). Please make surethat the version of the ROP setup software is Ver. 3.0.0.0 or higher.*1Before using ROP Setup Software, connect the unit to the personalcomputer with a LAN cable.• With IP connections, the unit can coexist with a CCU.
