A connection cable withinsulated crocodile clips and push-onterminals is supplied with the address settingtool, to be used when required.User friendlyThe address setting tool is powered by four1.5 V batteries (LR6 / AA).Procedure for reading / writing: Set the ON/OFF switch on the addresssetting tool in position "ON". LED"POWER" lights up. Wait for a beep. Plug the analog detector contact pins(SA / SB) into the address setting tool'ssnap connectors (SA / SB) or use theconnection cable to connect other units.How to read: Press the "READ" button. Wait for abeep and read the address and mode inthe display.How to write: Select MODE by pressing the "WRITE"and "READ" buttons at the same timeuntil the marker in the display is in thecorrect MODE position. Type-in the COM loop address andpress "WRITE". Wait for a beep. Press the "READ" button for a check.Wait for a beep and read the address andthe mode.Write the COM loop address on the Addresslabel on the detector (and the base) or on theunit.After using the address setting tool, it shouldbe turned OFF.
