While video is playing in the Search screen, click thisicon to begin recording a video clip. The icon will change to a Backup icon. Click the Backup icon to stop recording thevideo clip and open the Backup menu. Use the on-screen instructions to save the clip to a flash drive.— Volume Control: scroll the slider bar to increase or decrease volume.— Snapshots: To capture a snapshot image to your USB flash drive. If the video playback is in split-screen view, move themouse cursor to the channel you want to capture, and then click the icon to save the snapshot.— Add Default / Custom Tag: Click to assign a name to the video clip. The clip can then be searched for by tag name.• Timeline: Continuous recordings are shown with colored bars to represent different types of recording (legend shown in thebottom-right corner of the display). Use the time frame options to view a smaller or larger time period.Different types of recording shown in different colors:— Continuous (Normal) and Manual recording in Green color— Motion recording in Yellow color— I/O recording in Red color— Alarm recording in Orange color— Smart search recording playback— PIR recording in Purple color• Playback Status: display the video play status9.1.1 Video Clip BackupTo use Video Clip icon to backup files:1.
