To ensure that youmeet all of the installation requirements, be sure to read thisentire manual and follow its recommendations closely.Northstar suggests following the steps as outlined below.PRE-INSTALLATION:Step 1. Check the shipping carton for any damage, andimmediately report any damage to the carrier. Save allpacking material in case you have to return any systemcomponents to the Northstar factory for service.Step 2. Fill out the warranty card and mail it to Northstar.Step 3. Unpack the carton, and check its contents. You shouldhave received the following parts:• 957 unit• flush-mount hardware kit (P/N 957PK)• flush-mount gasket (P/N HG366)• 10-foot interface cable (P/N WA215)• 10-foot power cable (P/N WA535-A)For instructions on usingthe 957, see the Northstar957 Operator’s Manual(part number GM957UG)
