Getting Started 1-17Replacing the Battery PackReplace the battery pack installed in your NEC Versa system as follows.1. Save your files, exit Windows, and press the Suspend button or turn offthe system power.2. Close the LCD and turn the system over.3. Release the battery cover latch and slide the battery bay cover away fromthe system.4. Then lift the cover up and away from the system.Removing the cover5. Locate the notched corner on the battery. Placing your fingers in thenotched corner, lift the battery out of the system.! CAUTIONAlways lift the battery out of the system by the notched end. Failureto do so can damage the battery terminals.
