To adjust it, move thestopper arm in the direction of the arrow as shown inthe figure. Adjust the adjusting screw so that the bladestops at the desired position when lowering the handlefully.Adjusting the miter angle1234► 1. Miter scale 2. Pointer 3. Lock lever 4. GripLoosen the grip by turning counterclockwise. Turn theturn base while pressing down the lock lever. When youhave moved the grip to the position where the pointerpoints to the desired angle on the miter scale, securelytighten the grip clockwise.CAUTION:• After changing the miter angle, always securethe turn base by tightening the grip firmly.NOTICE:• When turning the turn base, be sure to raise thehandle fully.Adjusting the bevel angle1► 1. LeverTo adjust the bevel angle, loosen the lever at the rear of the toolcounterclockwise. Unlock the arm by pushing the handle some-what strongly in the direction that you intend to tilt the saw blade.NOTE:• Lever can be adjusted to a different lever angleby removing the screw holding the lever andsecuring the lever at a desired angle.1234► 1. Lever 2. Arm 3. Pointer 4. Bevel scaleTilt the saw blade until the pointer points to the desiredangle on the bevel scale. Then tighten the lever clock-wise firmly to secure the arm.1► 1. LeverWhen tilting the carriage to the right, tilt the carriageto the left slightly after loosening the lever and pressthe releasing button. With the releasing button beingpressed, tilt the carriage to the right.
