4ASSEMBLYCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off, unplugged,and the battery cartridge is removed before carrying outany work on the tool.Assembling the frame and the base1 231. Frame2. Base3. ScrewAssemble the worklight as follows:1. Remove the screws.2. Insert the legs of the frame into the base.3. Align the holes of the frame and the base.4. Tighten them with screws.FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTIONCAUTION:• Always be sure that the tool is switched off, unplugged,and the battery cartridge is removed before adjusting orchecking function on the tool.Use with battery:Installing or removing battery cartridgeCAUTION:• Always switch off the tool and unplug before installingor removing of the battery cartridge.• Hold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly wheninstalling or removing battery cartridge. Failure tohold the tool and the battery cartridge firmly may causethem to slip off your hands and result in damage to thetool and battery cartridge and a personal injury.123 1. Cover lock2. Battery cover3. Battery cartridgeTo install the battery cartridge, release the cover lock, andopen the battery cover. And insert the battery cartridge.Align the tongue on the battery cartridge with the groovein the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the wayuntil it locks in place with a little click. Then close thebattery cover.To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool whilesliding the button on the front of the cartridge.CAUTION:• Always install the battery cartridge fully in place. If not,it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury toyou or someone around you.• Do not install the battery cartridge forcibly. If thecartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being insertedcorrectly.Use with AC power:11. Plug (the shapemay differ fromcountry to country)Connect the plug to a power supply.Turning on LED light1 1. SwitchPress the switch once, the light shines brightly (highmode). Press the switch again, the light shines mildly (lowmode). To turn off the light, press the switch once again.Battery protection systemThe tool is equipped with a battery protection system toextend battery life.When the battery becomes low, the LED lights go outexcept one LED (the one on the second line center).Then, after approximately five to ten minutes later, thesystem automatically cuts off power.
