ENGLISH11- Switch off the appliance.- Defrost the chamber.- Clean and dry the chamber.- Leave the upper cover open to prevent moulddeveloping within the chamber.FUNCTIONIndicating the remaining batterycapacityThe battery indicator shows the remaining batterycapacity. The remaining battery capacity is shown asthe following table.Battery indicator status RemainingcapacityLighted Off50% to 100%20% to 50%0% to 20%(Blinking)Charge thebattery.(Only for battery cartridges with theindicator)Press the check button on the battery cartridge to indi-cate the remaining battery capacity. The appliance will automati-cally stop during operation if the appliance or battery isplaced under one of the following conditions.• Battery overdischarge protectionWhen the battery capacity becomes low, theappliance stops automatically. The battery indi-cator prompts that the battery should be charged.Remove the batteries from the appliance andcharge the batteries.• Overcurrent protectionWhen the appliance / battery is operated in amanner that causes it to draw an abnormally highcurrent, the appliance automatically stops. In thissituation, stop the application that caused theappliance to become overloaded. Then turn theappliance on to restart.• Low-voltage protectionWhen the car input voltage is lower than the ratedvoltage, this protection system turns off the appli-ance and the temperature display shows "F3" withbeep sound.• Over-voltage protectionWhen the input voltage is higher than the ratedvoltage, this protection system turns off the appli-ance and the temperature display shows "F4" withbeep sound.• Short circuit protectionThe circuit has short circuit protection functionin case of short circuit. In this situation, take theappliance to Makita Authorized or Factory ServiceCenters.Protections against other causesProtection system is also designed for other causes thatcould damage the appliance and allows the appliance tostop automatically. Take all the following steps to clearthe causes, when the appliance has been brought to atemporary halt or stop in operation.1. Turn the appliance off, and then turn it on again torestart.2. Charge the battery(ies) or replace it/them withrecharged battery(ies).3. Let the appliance and battery(ies) cool down.If no improvement can be found by restoring protectionsystem, then contact your local Makita Service Center.Tilt protection functionThe appliance is equipped with the tilt protection func-tion. When operating the appliance in cooling mode, theappliance will automatically shuts down if the applianceis placed under one of the following angles. |
