Installation of self-service CRUs is your responsibility. For optional-serviceCRUs, you can either install the CRU yourself or you can request that a Service Provider install the CRU accordingto the warranty service for your product. If you intend on installing the CRU, Lenovo will ship the CRU to you. CRUinformation and replacement instructions are shipped with your product and are available from Lenovo at any timeupon request. Examples of these typesof CRUs include the ac power adapter, power cord, battery, and hard disk drive. Other self-service CRUsdepending on product design might include the memory module, wireless card, keyboard, and palm restwith finger print reader and touch pad.– Optional-service CRUs: These CRUs are isolated parts within the computer that are concealed by an accesspanel that is typically secured by more than two screws.
