1. Remove any media from the drives and turn off all connected devices and the computer. Then,disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets and disconnect all cables that are connected to thecomputer.2. Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 48.3. Locate the storage drive. See “Computer components” on page 5.4. Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the storage drive.5. Remove the four screws that secure the storage drive. Slide the storage drive to the rear of thecomputer, and then remove it from the computer.Figure18. Removing the storage drive6. Slide the new storage drive into the storage drive bay to the front of the computer until the four screwholes in the storage drive align with the corresponding screw holes in the chassis.Figure19.
