INSTALLATIONKitchenAid 2013 Stainless Steel Tall Tub Dishwasher n 3-2524Secure Dishwasher in Cabinet OpeningCheck that dishwasher is still level front-to-back and side-to-sidein cabinet opening.Open dishwasher door, remove lower dish rack, and place towelover pump assembly and lower spray arm of dishwasher. This willkeep screws from falling into pump area when you are securingdishwasher to countertop.NOTES: Do not drop screws into bottom of dishwasher. If side mounting, you must drill pilot holes in cabinet to avoidsplitting the wood before installing screws. Locate bracketson top of dishwasher and secure dishwasher to countertopwith two #10 x ¹⁄₂" Phillips-head screws (included). Thedishwasher must be secured to keep it from shifting whendoor is opened.Check that top of door does not contact screws, brackets orcountertop. If it does, adjust leveling legs.Open door and check that space between dishwasher cabinetopening and tub is equal on both sides. If spacing is not equal,loosen bracket screws secured and shift tub. Tighten bracketscrews.If securing with a side attachment, check that sides of door do notrub against the screw heads. If they do, dishwasher must bere-centered. When dishwasher is properly centered, replaceplastic buttons.
