BLENDER SERVICE MANUAL9Hall Effect Sensor (Fig. 15)The various speeds of the blender are maintainedunder varying load conditions with a hall effectsensor (20), located at the bottom of the motor (17).To remove the hall effect sensor (20), use a flatheadscrewdriver to open two tabs (21) that hold the halleffect sensor (20) to the motor (17). The blender power base and lid can becleaned with a mild soap solution applied to a dampcloth and wiped dry with a soft towel. The blender jarcan easily be cleaned by placing it in an automaticdishwasher.You can also fill the jar half full of warm water and add afew drops of liquid dishwasher detergent. Cover the jarand blend the mixture in the “STIR” position for 10 - 20seconds. Shut the blender off and unplug the unit fromthe AC outlet.
