Pedestal2. End Panel3. Modesty Panel4. Undersurface Lateral File or File CenterInstallation Planning Metal to Worksurface: #10 Phillips pan head particleboard screws. Metal to Metal: #10 x 1/2” hex washer head drill screwsFigure AFigure BFigure C Four Spacers are included with all Pedestals and Under-surface Lateral Files. These ARE NOT used unlessfreestanding unit is part of systems installation, e.g. afreestanding return joined to a systems top.General InformationTo remove Pedestal Box and Undersurface Lateral Filedrawers (Figure B):1. Begin with top drawer (Figure C). Extend drawer fully.2. Insert flat head screwdriver in between pedestal drawerand slide. Pry slide away from drawer slightly (Figure C).3. Put one hand underneath drawer. Lift front of drawer up todisengage from front drawer slide channel hooks.4. When front of drawer is disengaged, pull entire drawertowards you, supporting it from the bottom. This shoulddisengage drawer from rear drawer slide channel hooks.5. Set all drawers aside and slide drawer channels back intocase. Do not try to remove the entire drawer slide.Removing Drawers
