30 Installation Note N9038-90018Option HL4 - High Performance Digital Signal Processing UpgradeLicense Key Retrieval and Installation85.Following the instructions on the Option N9038AK-HL4 License Entitlement Certificate redeemthe Option HL4 license key for the instrument being upgraded.86.Once the Option HL4 license key has been redeemed follow the installation instructions thatcome with the license to install it into the instrument.FPGA Programming87.Connect a USB mouse to one of the instrument USB ports.88.Using the mouse go to the Start menu and select My Computer and navigate to the followingfolder:C:\Program Files\Agilent\SignalAnalysis\Physics89.In this folder find and execute the file named:FPGA_Prog.batThe window as seen in Figure 22 will be displayed.Figure 22 FPGA Program Window90.Using the numeric keypad on the instrument press 1 then Enter. You will need to confirm thisselection by repeating the key press sequence.91.When the FPGA update has completed the instrument will automatically cycle the power andreboot.Once you start the FPGA programming process you MUST NOT interrupt the process for anyreason. This would include turning the instrument off or unplugging the power cord to theinstrument. Doing so will result in an inoperative instrument, requiring the affected assembly tobe replaced.
