Wait untilthe oven has completely cooled if possible. Ovenracks may be HOT and may cause burns.Your range may be equipped with one or more ofthe oven rack types shown; Fiat Handle OvenRack (Fig. 1), Fiat Oven Half Rack (Fig. 2) andOffset Rack (Fig. 3). To maximize cooking spacethe Offset Rack can be used in the lowest rackposition to roast large cuts of meat and poultry. The right half rack portionmay still be used for other food items like a casserole dish (See Fig. 5). To remove the insert, squeeze on the left frontinsert side (See Fig. 4) of the rack and tilt out clockwise. To reinstall insert rear hooks at back of insert (See 1-Fig. 5) andlay insert down. Make sure both insert front hooks snap into rack (See 2-Fig. 5).Do not use cookware that extends beyond the edge of the Flat Half Rack. For best results, allow 2 inches between the panplaced on the rack and oven side or rear walls.Baking Layer Cakes with 1 or 2 Oven RacksFor best results when baking cakes using 2 oven racks, place cookware on rack positions 2 (Flat Handle Oven Rack) & 5with the Offset Oven Rack (See Fig. 6). For best results when using a single oven rack, place cookware on rack position 4(See Fig. 7).Air Circulation in the OvenFor best air circulation and bakingresults allow 2-4" (5-10 cm) aroundthe cookware for proper air circulationand be sure pans and cookware do nottouch each other, the oven door, sidesor back of the oven cavity.
