Turn off griddle and disconnect Top-Side™ Cookerelectric power.2. Remove the cooking sheet by lifting off cookingsheet mounting clips.3. Place a layer of soft cloth and then a layer ofcardboard onto griddle plate under cooking head toprotect Miraclean® surface.4. Raise cooking head completely to release tensionon cooking head support pin. Remove support pinand its cotter pin and carefully lower cooking head toprotected griddle surface.The cooking head is not supported after the cook-ing head support pin has been removed. If droppedthe weight of the cooking head when unsupportedwill cause damage to the griddle surface or injury topersonnel.5. Do not turn the support pin in either direction.6. To reattach the cooking head to the ram lift arm,raise cooking head completely and replace cookinghead support pin. Insert a new stainless steel cotterpin to secure support pin, holding support pin tokeep it from spinning.7. Replace cooking sheet. See - “Installing a CookingSheet”. SERVICE DIAGNOSISA properly adjusted Keating Top-Side™ Cooker, withno load, will cycle “ON” approximately every 5-1/2 to6-1/2 minutes. Each cycle will last 40 seconds, ensur-ing that the temperature setting is held within a narrowrange.6
