The antenna shows status of the alarm functionsand is used to enter programming features, valetoverride and emergency disarm.If your remote is lost or not functioning and youralarm is armed, you can enter the vehicle, thealarm will sound, and the auto engine run will shutdown if already running, turn on the ignition key,and hold the antenna button for approx 10 sec-onds.There are three user controls that operate the various features of the system.Some features can be control by more than one devices. The user control devices are thecontrol switch, the remote control (2-way & 1-way) and the antenna.The control switch allows the user to activate and deactivate thek9system, trigger the alert delay, and display k9system status.The 2-way remote allows the user to activate anddeactivate the k9system, receive alert signals checktemperature, arm/disarm the alarm system, set tem-perature thresholds, and remote start the vehicle toname a few. After service, rememberto take the system out of Valet Mode. To put the system in or out of Valet, Turn on theignition and press and hold the antenna button for 5 seconds.
