– 7Caution In case of extended down-times, switch the applianceoff at the main switch / appli-ance switch or remove themains plug. Do not operate the applianceat temperatures below 0 °C. Observe a distance of at least30 cm when using the jet toclean painted surfaces toavoid damaging paintwork. Never leave the applianceunattended when it is in oper-ation. Make sure that the power ca-ble or extension cables arenot damaged by runningover, pinching, dragging orsimilar. Protect the power ca-ble from heat, oil, and sharpedges. All current-conducting partsin the working area must beprotected against jet water. The appliance may only beconnected to an electricalsupply which has been in-stalled in accordance withIEC 60364. The appliance may only beconnected to alternating cur-rent. The voltage must corre-spond with the type plate onthe appliance. For safety reasons, we rec-ommend that you operate theappliance only via an earth-leakage circuit breaker (max.30 mA). Cleaning operations whichproduce oily waste water, e.g.engine washes, underbodywashes, may only be carriedout using washing stationsequipped with an oil separa-tor.CautionSafety devices protect the userand must not be modified or by-passed.The appliance switch prevents unin-tentional operation of the appliance.This lock locks the lever of the triggergun and prevents the inadvertent startof the appliance.The overflow valve prevents the per-missible working pressure from beingexceeded.If the lever on the trigger gun is re-leased the pressure switch turns off thepump, the high pressure jet is stopped.If the lever is pulled the pump is turnedon again.CautionCreate stability for the applianceprior to all work on or with theappliance to prevent accidentsor damage.– The stability of the appliance is war-ranted when it is placed onto aneven surface.Safety DevicesPower switchLock trigger gunOverflow valve with pressureswitchPrerequisites for theappliance's stability18 EN
