4ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONSOPERATING INSTRUCTIONS1. Preparation• Connect the suction hose• Connect the telescopic suction tubeand carpet turbo nozzle.1. Setting telescopic suction tube• Unlock the tube by moving the lock ringand set the tube to the desired length bydrawing the inner pipe out or by sliding itin further.You can vacuum in a comfortable, uprightposition by setting the telescopic suctionpipe to suit your height.click2. Filling the water filter container• Press the unlock button and pull out thewater filter container.The appliance is delivered with theintermediate filter and curved air guardalready assembled. When filling the container,ensure that these components (see: Supplieditems) have been assembled correctly. Theymay be the cause of poor suctionperformance or premature failure of theintermediate filter.2. Attaching the accessory holder• Connect the handle to the telescopicsuction tube.The accessory holder is for storing thefurniture brush and upholstery nozzle.3Safety WarningsWhen using an electrical appliance, basicprecautions should always be followed,including the following:READ ALL INSTRUCTIONSBEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCEWARNING-To reduce the risk of fire,electric shock, or injury:1. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. Tounplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.8. Do not handle plug or appliance withwet hands.9. Do not put any object into openings.Do not use with any opening blocked;keep free of dust, lint, hair, andanything that may reduce air flow.10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, andall parts of body away from openingsand moving parts.11. Turn off all controls before unplugging.12. Use extra care when cleaning onstairs.13. Do not use to pick up flammable orcombustible liquids, such as gasoline,or use in areas where they may bepresent.14. Always turn off this appliance beforeconnecting or disconnecting motorizednozzle.15. Hold plug when rewinding onto cordreel. Do not allow plug to whip whenrewinding.16. This appliance is provided with doubleinsulation. Use only identicalreplacement parts. See instructions forServicing of Double-InsulatedAppliances.17. Do not pick up anything that is burningor smoking, such as cigarettes,matches, or hot ashes.18. No groundingmeans is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should ameans for grounding be added to theappliance.
