Do not modify theplug provided with the product - if it willnot fit the outlet, have a proper outlet in-stalled by a qualified electrician. Do notuse any type of adapter with this prod-uct. CAUTIONWhen connecting the water inlet to thewater supply mains, local regulations ofyour water company must be observed.In some areas the unit must not be con-nected directly to the public drinking wa-ter supply. This is to ensure that there isno feedback of chemicals into the watersupply. Direct connection via a receivertank or backflow preventer, for example,is permitted.Dirt in the feed water will damage theunit. To avoid this risk, we recommendfitting a water filter. Garden hose must be at least 13 mmor 16 mm (1/2 inch or 5/8) inch in di-ameter. Flow rate of water supply must notfall below 7.6 L/min. (2 GPM/gallonsper minute). Flow rate can be determined by run-ning the water for one minute into anempty 20 litre (5-gallon) container. The water supply temperature mustnot exceed 40°C/104°F. Never use the pressure washer todraw in water contaminated with sol-vents, e.g. paint thinners, gasoline,oil, etc. Always prevent debris from beingdrawn into the unit by using a cleanwater source.GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONSWATER SUPPLY(Cold Water Only)
