– 6 Separate the high pressure hose fromthe high pressure connection of the ap-pliance. Switch the appliance on (I/ON) for amax. of 2 minutes and wait until the wa-ter exits the high-pressure connectionwithout bubbles. Turn off the appliance "0/OFF".CautionDry runs lasting longer than two minuteslead to damages to the high pressurepump. If the appliance does not build uppressure within two minutes, switch it offand proceed as instructed in the Chapter"Troubleshooting". IllustrationInsert the high pressure hose tightly intothe quick coupling on the appliance, itwill lock in audibly.Note: Make sure the connection nippleis aligned correctly.Check the secure connection by pullingon the high pressure hose. IllustrationPush the spray lance into the triggergun and fasten it by turning it through90°. Completely open the water tap. Insert the mains plug into the socket. Turn on the appliance “I/ON”. DangerThe trigger gun is subjected to a recoil forcewhen the water jet is discharged. Makesure that you have a firm footing and arealso holding the trigger gun and spray lancefirmly.CautionPrior to cleaning, make sure that the highpressure is placed safely on level ground.Wear protective goggles and protectiveclothing during the cleaning process. Unlock the lever on the trigger gun. Pull on the lever of the trigger gun; thedevice will switch on.Note: Release the lever of the trigger gun;the device will switch off again. High pres-sure remains in the system.Carrying out the most common cleaningtasks. The work pressure can be stageless-ly regulated between "Min" and "Max". Release the lever on the trigger gun. Turn the spray lance to the desired po-sition.Note: Suitable for working with detergent;for this, turn the spray lance to the "Mix" po-sition.For particularly dirty items or areas.– Not suitable for use with detergents.– Note: Suitable for use with detergents.With powerful foam for effortless cleaning.Illustration Fill the detergent solution in the deter-gent tank of the foam nozzle (observedosage instructions on the packaging ofthe detergent). Connect the detergent tank to the foamnozzle. Connect the foam nozzle to the triggergun.Note: This will mix the detergent withthe water stream.Please use exclusively KÄRCHER deter-gents and care products to carry out the re-spective cleaning task, as these werespecifically developed for your appliance.The use of other detergents and care prod-ucts may lead to premature wear and caninvalidate your warranty claims.
